Well, I've been catching up on all kinds of things, including mending.
Broken zipper?
Just create a new zipper stop, right above the broken part of the zipper.
First, get the zipper zipped up (this can take some patience!). Then, take a needle and thread and sew around and around where you want the new zipper stop (just above the broken zipper teeth).
Wuh-lah! Done! You are now the proud owner of a new pair of reconditioned pants!
